After victory over Fiorentina on Sunday, Esteban Cambiasso insists Inter Milan were never in crisis.

"Have the real Inter returned? I don't think we were ever gone," Cambiasso, who scored the opening goal, told Sky Sport Italia.

"We played very well against one of the best teams in the League. There's one less match to play and we still have the same advantage.

"After our elimination from the Champions League, we beat Palermo and drew against Genoa with 10 men.

"We suffered against Juventus and Lazio, but we have maintained our lead. However, there are a few games to play and we must still respect our opponents.

"Do I think this is a decisive step towards the title? According to some journalists we've already lost the Scudetto five times," the Argentina international quipped.
