Esteban Cambiasso has dismissed crisis talk at Inter Milan after defeat to Lazio.
The Nerazzurri could slide down to mid-table this weekend following last night's Olimpico loss.
"Clearly such a defeat cannot leave us satisfied, but the team reacted well," said Cambiasso.
"After conceding two avoidable goals, we closed the gap and had some chances to get an equaliser.
"We kept going, so that shows Inter are still mentally strong and have not given up. Now we must focus on the Club World Cup, an appointment that can put another cherry on the cake of an extraordinary year."
Last term's Treble winners risk dropping out of the Scudetto race before Christmas, though.
"Already having four defeats at this stage is a heavy burden, so now we are chasing and it no longer entirely depends on us," continued Cambiasso.
"But seeing as in the past people always said the League was wide open when we were in front, I don't see why it shouldn't be the case now."
