Esteban Cambiasso is disappointed to have been released by Inter Milan.
The Argentine midfielder was allowed to come off contract this summer.
"I still can't quite realise it's over with Inter," Cuchu told Sky Sport Italia.
"I feel like I'm among the fans, I feel their warmth when I'm walking down the street and that's why I haven't written any letter of thanks, because I still feel like I'm with them."
Cambiasso continued: "I deserved better. It would've been fair to let me know the contract would not be renewed a little earlier, not even three or four months, but that would've given me time to think. Instead I found out the day before the last game of the season with Chievo.
"Considering all I'd been through in these 10 years with Inter, they could've told me a week earlier."
