Cambiasso admits Twente draw not result Inter wanted

Inter Milan midfielder Esteban Cambiasso has admitted that the 2-2 away draw with Dutch outfit FC Twente was not the result the club was after.

The reigning European champions recorded just one point in their opening Champions League group stage match and Cambiasso said the result was not the desired one although he admitted Twente were a difficult opponent.

"It wasn't the result we were looking for, even if it's never a bad thing to draw away from home," Cambiasso told Sky Sport Italia.

"We knew they were dangerous from set plays and they wanted to prove that they were worthy of this competition.

"Now we have to focus on the next games."
