Wigan Athletic defender Gary Caldwell has told fans to keep an eye on youngster Roman Golobart.
Caldwell has seen enough from the 18-year-old former Espanyol defender to suggest he has a big future in the game.
"Roman has been great in pre-season," Caldwell told the Wigan Observer.
"It was a tough time for him last season with his knees, but hopefully he is over that now.
"He is showing everyone what a good player he is and, once he gets a grounding in the game and his fitness levels up, he will be some player."
