Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon is ready to perform a U-turn and enter the winter transfer market.
The injury to Arjen Robben, following the transfer deadline sale to Manchester City of Robinho, has left Real short of creativity in midfield, while coach Bernd Schuster has also been vocal over a shortage of striker options.
El Mundo Deportivo says Calderon will push through plans to buy in January, where he has had previous success with the signings of Marcelo, Gonzalo Higuain and Fernando Gago.
