Marca says Calderon has informed his fellow directors that he's spoken with Ronaldo and the Portuguese will not return to United to talk with manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Instead, he wants to see Real wrap up his signing as soon as possible.

Calderon and his board were upbeat during yesterday's meeting over the progress of their bid to land the Premiership's Player of the Year.
