Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon wouldn't be surprised if they want to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Kane has been linked with a £150m move to Real Madrid.
Calderon told Reuters: "Real always looks for top players. The club must have big names in order to get new sponsors, build their brand and generate more money to maintain their status. With the money you can invest, save and then invest again.
"I suppose Real wants to recruit Kane, which is due to several factors. Among other things, it's about the player probably wanting it and the coach wanting him, but also because he is an outstanding football player."
