Gabriel Calderon has left Real Betis following their relegation.
He only took over at the Estadio Benito Villamarin in January but could not stop the Andalucian outfit going down, winning just four of his league games in charge.
"Gabriel Humberto Calderon will not be professionally linked to Real Betis from July 1," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The coach had a meeting last week with president Manuel Dominguez Platas and vice president Fernando Casas to tell them of his intention to take another direction."
