Davide Calabria hopes Cristian Brocchi remains as AC Milan coach.
Brocchi succeeded the sacked Sinisa Mihajlovic late in the season.
Calabria said: “He remained congruent with his ideas. Of course, at first his attitude was a little different, he knew he had no space to revolutionise the team and he was smart in not trying. There was no time to set up a team according to his philosophy.
“But I think we saw some good things in the Coppa Italia final, and if he's given time he'll do well, as he already showed in the youth team.
“He's very well-prepared technically and tactically. And he's a great man. For us players he's almost like a friend, someone you can talk to, exchanging points of view and looking for a solution together. That's something really nice.
“I wish for him to be confirmed at Milan. He deserves it as a Coach and as a man."
