Hull City boss Steve Bruce has noted the form of loanee Tom Cairney at Blackburn Rovers and has hinted at a recall when the loan ends. Bruce said: "I'm certainly not dismissing him because I know he's a good player.
"It's in my mind to possibly bring him back in January.
"I've spoken with Gary at length a couple of times in the last few weeks.
"He rings me and I ring him just to see how Tom is doing. He's doing very well, just as I thought he would.
"He's always one of them that's got great ability and it was a matter of time once he started playing regularly."
