Chelsea defender Gary Cahill says Champions League opponents Schalke face a backlash.
Cahill admits Chelsea's players want to make up for their defeat at Newcastle United.
He said: "We're looking for a positive performance, which I'm sure we'll get.
"The manager is going to be frustrated when a result is disappointing. Likewise the players.
"You feel a part of it. You're all in it together and we'd had three great results against massive teams (Schalke, Manchester City, Arsenal).
"We were looking to maintain the momentum and got a poor result. As players you want to get straight back out there and put things right.
"This is an opportunity to do that. We have to move on, look to respond and bounce back."
