Tim Cahill feels New York Red Bulls need to return to top form following their lacklustre draw with Toronto FC last week.
The Red Bulls played out a 0-0 draw at BMO Field, forcing them to drop four points behind Eastern Conference leaders Sporting Kansas City, and Cahill is looking for a much-improved showing when overall MLS leaders Real Salt Lake come to town this weekend.
"I think we definitely need to bounce back. It was a poor display at Toronto, you see the result, we picked up a point," he said.
"I don't think we're lucky because I don't think that would bring it either but you know the circumstances the whole game, I think even a few refereeing decisions would have changed the game so overall we just go to get over it and play a very good Real Salt Lake team that's playing great football at the minute."
The former Everton star added: "I think as a footballing team they look the most complete at the minute. They're scoring their goals and obviously not conceding a lot but there they seem to get the edge on a lot of teams but you know for us we're very good at home."
