Cahill urges Everton to maintain focus after Wolves win

Tim Cahill has urged Everton to maintain their focus after victory over Wolves.

Australian international Cahill has urged his teammates not to look too far ahead, and focus initially on Saturday's game against a Bolton Wanderers side currently in the relegation zone.

"We've just got to take it a game at a time," he told evertonfc.com. "It wasn't the best football against Wolves, but so long as we pick up points over the next few games, that's all that matters.

"But we need to do that individually. I don't think we can be looking over three or four games, we just need to do what we did tonight. I know it is frustrating for the fans, but for the players all we want to do is win games.

"We have to stand up and be counted, and make sure that you always face up to adversity, whatever it may be. We have a small squad and we have got no choice. These players are going to play week in, week out and nothing is going to change. We keep fighting away until the end."
