Everton's Tim Cahill is determined to finish higher than Merseyside rivals Liverpool this season.
The Toffees sit two points clear of the Reds with three league matches remaining and the Australian midfielder is keen to remain in that situation to make up for losing to the Anfield club in the FA Cup semi-final a few weeks back.
"To finish above Liverpool we have to be really determined and try to get the right results.
"We have to be on song because it's such a massive thing to finish above Liverpool and I think for the fans it would be a just reward for what we've been through this season.""I think after the heartache of the FA Cup it was just right that we focused on the league," Cahill told the club's official website.
Everton are away at Stoke City on Tuesday night, as Liverpool host Fulham, before the Toffees head to Wolves on Sunday and then finish the season with a home fixture against Newcastle United on May 13.
