Tim Cahill has signed a contract extension, keeping him at Everton until 2014.
The Australia international has agreed terms on a new deal despite having two years to run on his previous deal, indicating his desire to remain at Goodison Park for the remainder of his career.
The 30-year old made no secret that he wanted to sign an extension with the Toffees and it is now official that he spend the next four years at his beloved Merseyside club.
Cahill made his 200th appearance for the club late last season and has netted 56 goals since joining from Millwall in 2004.
