Chelsea defender Gary Cahill says skipper John Terry was right to steam into teammates this week.
In his match programme notes this week, Terry told his under-performing team-mates that recent results were simply unacceptable and told them to take responsibility for the club's slump.
Cahill said: "It's right that the players are upset because we don't expect to lose games like we have been lately.
"We've had team meetings when things have needed to be said and rollickings have been delivered between the whole group.
"What was said stays within the club. But, as long as it's taken in the right way, it's a positive thing. We expect to win the majority of our games at Chelsea and that's not been happening lately.
"Everyone has been involved in that so now we all have to dig in as a group. That is the only way we can go forward."
