Cahill return influences Everton demolition

Tim Cahill returned to the Everton starting line-up after being on international duty to great effect. The Toffees recorded a 4-0 victory over Wigan at Goodison Park with Cahill playing 65 minutes before making way for starlet Jack Rodwell.

Everton boss David Moyes was full of praise for Cahill after travelling to and from Australia last week.

"Tim Cahill had travelled half way around the world, so it gives you the option to get them off as soon as we could," he said.

"Even the boys who have played in Europe ... mentally it's a strain for them to go again and play again and coming into the Premier League the games are all so important and us managers are desperate to get another result."
