Cahill may be left out of Everton's clash with Chelsea

Everton boss David Moyes admits he may leave Tim Cahill out of Sunday's meeting with Chelsea. The Toffees host the second-placed Blues at Goodison Park in the final game of the season for the chance to remain seventh on the table but may have to navigate the fixture without star Aussie Cahill whose foot problem is still an issue.

"We are not sure if Tim Cahill is fit," the Everton boss said at the pre-match press conference.

"He wasn't fit last week and we might choose to give him as much time as possible to get over his foot injury so that he is ready for next season."

Cahill has struggled to string games together since returning from Australian national team duties at the Asian Cup in January and Moyes' take is that the 31-year old attacking midfielder should be given time to rest and get himself back to his best.
