Gary Cahill is desperate for Chelsea to get back to top form.
The reigning Premier League champions are languishing in 16th position on the table having won just two of their opening eight fixtures.
Last weekend, the Blues were beaten 3-1 at by Southampton but unfortunately, do not get the chance to atone for that until they host Aston Villa after the international break.
Regarding their hour beginning, stand-in England captain Cahill says it is vital for the West Londoners to quickly return to their best in order to avert a disaster of a season.
"We've had a very tough start, everybody knows that, but I've never been as determined to turn things around personally and I'm sure my team-mates feel the same," Cahill said.
"The Southampton game was disappointing and I'm very hungry to turn it around, as is everybody at the club."
Cahill will skipper the Three Lions in the absence of the injured Wayne Rooney in Friday's Euro2016 qualifier with Estonia at Wembley.
