Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says that his centre-back Gary Cahill scored a really important goal in the 4-2 win over Southampton on Tuesday.
Blues ace Eden Hazard gave an early lead to his side before Oriel Romeu pulled scores level for the Saints at Stamford Bridge.
The two sides were set to go into the half-time break with the score tied at 1-1 before Cahill restored his side's advantage in injury-time of the first half with a powerful header.
Following the game, Conte said: "It was very important otherwise we would have gone into the changing room at 1-1, it's not the same and my speech wouldn't have been the same.
"I'm pleased for Gary, he scored a really important goal for us and maybe it gave us more confidence for the second half."
