Tim Cahill has done it again for Everton, scoring in a big game to help his side to an important victory. The Australia international netted the first Toffees goal in the 2-0 win over Manchester City at Eastlands in the 33rd minute before Spanish midfielder Mikel Arteta got the second with five minutes remaining.
Cahill scored with a trademark header after some quick-thinking from Arteta who found Leighton Baines from a free-kick who crossed in for the Aussie and he nodded home to open up the scoring in a match that saw both managers, Everton's David Moyes and City's Roberto Mancini involved in a touchline bust-up.
The win put Everton into eighth place on the table whilst City's chance to jump into fourth was wrecked by the Merseyside club.
