The Aussie ace has had plenty of chances to move on from Goodison Park.
But the former Millwall midfielder explains: "In all fairness, it's the chairman, the manager and the fans,' he explained. 'It's always easier to leave and jump ship but a lot harder to stay. I've been here seven years and it's been nothing but unbelievable.
"The players here understand there isn't a gold mine of funds but we don't rely on it. Spending (big) money doesn't always work out and the dream (to succeed) here remains intact. The only way I'd leave is if something was up with my family or kids."
