Gary Cahill is delighted with the way his move to Chelsea has panned out.
He has now started five of the last seven internationals, and he is expected to play in England's pre-tournament friendly against Belgium this weekend and he brings new-found big-game experience to the squad.
"The big games I have been involved in this season, the huge games in the Champions League, have been great for me," said Cahill, who is tipped to start alongside Chelsea club-mate John Terry against France.
"People that might look at you and say 'He hasn't had this experience or played in these sorts of games' - you have now.
"I think that helps. Hopefully that will help me, if selected. You have been through big games already.
"These are going to be huge games for whoever is selected. With the Three Lions and the pride and everything that comes with it, they will be massive games but ones we are looking forward to."
