Tim Cahill is confident after experiencing Everton's best preparation ahead of a Premier League season.
The Australia international, fresh from scoring a hat-trick against Norwich City on the weekend, said the Toffees' grounding this summer, which included a trip to his homeland, had been great and had the Merseyside club in a great position ahead of the 2010/11 season.
"We have had a very good pre-season. In terms of preparation it has probably been the best since I came to the club," he said.
"Right from the start everything has been great. A lot of the lads are looking fresh and fit for the start of the season, even those of us who were away at the World Cup.
"I'm very happy with where we are, we have got a great squad."
Everton kick off the EPL season with an away clash at Blackburn Rovers, the home of Socceroos teammates Vince Grella and Brett Emerton, on August 14.
