Chelsea defensive pair Ashley Cole and Gary Cahill are in line to make a return for their clash at Liverpool.

Cahill has missed over a month with a knee injury sustained in the 2-0 win over West Ham on March 17, while Cole has been nursing a hamstring strain picked up in the FA Cup quarter-final win against Manchester United on April 1.

Rafa Benitez confirmed on Friday: "There's good news - we have Gary Cahill and Ashley Cole training today, so that's really positive.

"Maybe Sunday's too early for them, but we will see after another training session on Saturday."
