Chelsea defender Gary Cahill says victory at Maccabi Tel Aviv is the ideal result going into the derby against Tottenham.
Cahill struck in the comfortable Champions League win last night.
He said: "It was massively important (to beat Maccabi), for a number of reasons, but mainly to take it to the last game against Porto to see who is going to top the group.
"We knew, if we won, it would be in our hands at Stamford Bridge, so bring it on.
“It gathers that momentum. We've got this week to prepare for the Tottenham game.
"They're playing very well at the minute. Like they always are, I've no doubt it'll be an entertaining game and one where we're hoping to be on the end of right result."
