Everton star Tim Cahill says he cannot wait to play for his club on their tour down under in July this year. The Australia international and the Merseyside club are in Australia in July for a three-match series against Sydney FC, Melbourne Heart and Brisbane Roar and Cahill he says he is thrilled about the chance to take the pitch with his beloved Toffees in his homeland.

''I'm so thrilled that Everton are coming here, it's massive for such a big club like that to be in Australia and we'll show the fans just how passionate we are about football,'' he told SMH.

Of course, Cahill's presence relies on how the Socceroos fare in the World Cup in South Africa but these words clearly indicate that he is prepared to travel back to Australia to give something to the Aussie and Everton supporters.
