Cahill and Everton hoping to keep unbeaten run alive

Tim Cahill will be hoping Everton can remain undefeated when they take on Benfica in the Europa League tonight. The Toffees meet the Portuguese outfit at the Estadio da Luz in the third group stage match and the Australian international will be hoping his recent heroics for his country are on show again for his club.

Everton sit on top of the Group I table after wins against BATE Borisov and AEK Athens whilst Benfica are a game behind them in second place.

Other Aussies in European action tonight include Fulham's Mark Schwarzer who host Italian club AS Roma at Craven Cottage.

The Cottagers are coming off a Premier League win against Hull City in which Schwarzer kept a clean sheet and that will again be the goal when Roma come to town.

Fulham sit on top of the Group E table with one win and one draw whilst Roma have also notched one win but have experienced a loss and sit third on the table.

Scott Chipperfield and FC Basel are away to Bulgarians CSKA Sofia and are well-placed behind Fulham in Group E with a win and a loss.

Harry Kewell is in great scoring form and will hope to continue his run when Galatasaray hosts Romanian outfit Dinamo Bucharesti.

The sides fill the top-two positions in Group F, so the result of this match is extremely important and it is yet to be seen if Aussie duo David Carney and Nikita Rukavytsya will be in Twente Enschede's squad that travels to Moldova to take on Sheriff Tiraspol - a win would extend the Dutch club's lead on top of Group H.
