"It was my first cap and also my first call-up, so everything is a victory, including just training with these champions," he said.
"It was an important chance for us, we knew what the Coach wanted and the team certainly helps you to do your best."
When asked if he thought he would have a spot in the 2010 World Cup squad, Biondini calmed ambitious talk.
"In three days there will be another important game and a chance to prove myself. I think that looking beyond that is dangerous, as I must focus on that opportunity.
"I really hoped I would make my debut tonight and knew there was a chance. I tried to give my best in training to make sure I was ready.
"These few minutes on the field can represent a great deal in terms of experience and help me to do better in future."
