Confusion over Cagliari's coaching situation has stalled talks over a deal for Atalanta striker Riccardo Zampagna.
Cagliari have been forced to break off negotiations for Zampagna as they seek a replacement for Nedo Sonetti, who resigned as coach yesterday.
Serie BVicenza and also Siena are now heading the queue for veteran forward Zampagna.
