Cagliari's new Argentine striker Joaquin Larrivey says Inter Milan's Hernan Crespo is his hero.

Dubbed 'El Bati' in Argentina due to his likeness with Gabriel Batistuta, Larrivey regards Crespo as the player he most wants to model his game on.

"He is my point of reference," said Larrivey. "I most want to be like him.

"Crespo remains my No1."
