Cagliari sports chief Nicola Salerno insists they have no plans of selling star midfielder Pasquale Foggia.

The Italy prospect has been linked with AC Milan and Napoli, but Salerno says: "We believe a lot in him. We have the right to sign him outright (from Lazio) and intend to stick with him for a long time.

"He can be a foundation block for this team going into the future."
