Cagliari sacked Allegri over AC Milan, Juventus rumours

Cagliari president Massimo Cellino is understood to have sacked coach Massimiliano Allegri over interest from AC Milan and Juventus.

The Serie A Coach of the Year is routinely linked with Italy's biggest jobs and was expected to leave in the summer to further his career.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Cellino moved to secure Allegri to a new deal earlier this week, which the coach turned down. He then decided to dismiss him.
