Cagliari have pulled back from moving for Cesena midfielder Marco Parolo.
Cagliari tabled an offer for the Italy international last week.
The valuation of the midfielder seems to have put them off.
"Why should I spend 8m on Parolo when we already have Davide Biondini in the squad?" asked President Massimo Cellino.
