New Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini has rejected Lazio's offer for Davide Astori.
Indeed, it's been announced the defender has signed a new three-year contract.
"We told Lazio our lowest price was 7m, firm and immovable," Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini told Sardegna Sport.
"Lazio, via a phone call from President Claudio Lotito to our director of sport Francesco Marroccu, let us know he was not interested at those figures and we should consider ourselves free to move forward.
"As far as I am concerned, the negotiations are closed."
