Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has hit out at his own fans after their draw with Sampdoria.

The result stopped Cagliari's recent losing streak, but Cellino admits he was upset by the abuse he received from fans on the day.

"I think next time they may shoot me," claimed Cellino.

"Their fans threw all sorts at me and they went as far as spitting. I wonder what will happen next time I return here."

Cellino also believes something strange is happening around his team.

"It has been a while now, about six weeks that strange things happen against us. They were nervous and we just played our game.

"Against Milan it will be difficult - they are still in competition for the Scudetto."
