Cagliari president Massimo Cellino is full of praise for coach Massimiliano Allegri after a successful season.
"Allegri and I always speak. He has a contract with Cagliari until 2011," Cellino told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I am sure that he will be here next season. He will know how to lead the team with the right mentality."
When asked if he thought Allegri would regret not moving to Milan, Cellino replied: "I only know that the trainer of Cagliari has never been on the market.
"He has managed his debut in Serie A with great personality. It's not true that he exploited the work of his predecessor Davide Ballardini.
"The base was good, but he has made it his own," Cellino explained, before announcing his objectives for next season.
"I wouldn't swap a 60 per cent chance of qualifying for the Champions League with a 100 per cent chance of survival. Never," he concluded.
