Cagliari president Cellino denies bullying want-away Marchetti

Cagliari president Massimo Cellino denies "bullying" frozen out goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.

Marchetti's agent claimed this week that the club was trying to "punish" him by freezing him out and refusing two transfer offers.

"What bullying? We were more damaged than him by this, seeing as we had to buy a new goalkeeper to avoid ugly surprises," slammed President Cellino in the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Marchetti is training in a very professional way. It's up to Coach Pierpaolo Bisoli to decide what to do, even if I hope in January we can find a good solution on the transfer market."
