Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has admitted interest in Siena striker Emanuele Calaio.
"I confirm that we are interested in Calaio. We have already bought Nene. Our next move depends on some things that need clarifying," Cellino said.
Cellino is not looking for a capocannoniere, merely someone who can score a handful of goals.
"To me, it's enough that he scores five or six goals because last year we had Acquafresca, who put them away.
"Matri had some physical problems, which he has now got rid of and Larrivey went to Argentina because they paid a lot for his loan and he wanted to go.
"Today he has returned, though, and I want him to stay here. For me, he is very strong.
"To sell Larrivey to buy another attacker would be a blasphemy," he added.
