Cagliari midfielder Filip Bradaric is backing Inter Milan's move for Luka Modric.

Inter coach Luciano Spalletti has confirmed they're trying to close a deal this month for the Real Madrid midfielder.

And Modric's Croatia teammate Bradaric admits he'd like to see him in Serie A.

"For me, he's the best player in the world in his role. I do not know his intentions, and I do not know if he will commit to Inter," he said.

"But I hope this will happen because I would like to face him. That would prove the level of this championship."
