Cagliari defender Luca Rossettini has hit out at former coach Zdenek Zeman.

The Sardinians have been relegated after being in the top flight for 11 years.

"We had some warning signs in pre-season at Sappada," Rossettini said.

"The fitness work we did was frightening. Personally, I had never seen anything like it.

"There's no point running so long if on the field you end up being slower than your opponents."
