Cagliari defender Michele Canini expects a move to AC Milan.
Milan have opened negotiations with Cagliari for the Italy U21 international, who is now waiting for an agreement to be struck.
For now, Milan and Cagliari are still haggling over a fee, but Canini remains confident he will start the season at the San Siro.
