Cagliari are chasing Inter Milan striker Dani Osvaldo.

Osvaldo is on-loan at Inter from Southampton.

Cagliari director Francesco Marroccu revealed: "Osvaldo is our first choice.

"We are confident and will let our affiliates continue working, as they know the Inter directors well and know how to act.

"It will be a sort of choice from the heart, because Osvaldo knows Zola and Casiraghi very well."
