Cagliari have announced the signing of Sampdoria midfielder Daniele Dessena.

Sampdoria have also given their permission for the midfielder to train with his new teammates before the window officially opens in January.

It is believed that Dessena, who scored three goals in 29 appearances for Cagliari during the 2009-10 campaign, has joined the Sant'Elia boys on loan.
