Cagliari boss Massimo Ficcadenti insists AS Roma remain a quality line-up.
Roma were shocked by Cagliari on the opening day of the new season.
Ficcadenti said: "It was a well balanced tie in the first half between two open sides. In the second period they pressured us for 15 minutes and, in one of the few chances that we were able to attack, we scored.
"From there things got easier and the fact that they were reduced to 10 men helped.
"But Roma are not in disarray as everyone is making out. They did a lot of running and tried to do what their Coach asked of them.
"They were perhaps too incisive in the last 20 metres of the pitch.
"Luis Enrique comes from a different game and wants to impose his way of doing things. There is a different mentality in Italy.
"He has to adapt to the characteristics of his players, as his players have to get used to his methods. It's hard to change everything in two months - sometimes you need years."
