Cagliari boss Pier Paolo Bisoli is confident Federico Marchetti won't be a disruptive influence after failing to get a move away.

Cagliari President Massimo Cellino has asked Bisoli to play Michael Agazzi as his No1, although new signing Ivan Pelizzoli is expected to replace Marchetti in the long term.

"Marchetti is a great professional and a good lad," Bisoli said. "He'll continue to train with us and with the same determination that he has shown up till now."
