Striker Danny Cadamarteri has left Dundee United and returned to Huddersfield until the end of the season. The 31-year-old is back at Town having been signed by Andy Ritchie in June 2007, making more than 50 appearances over two seasons.

Boss Lee Clark told the club's official website: "We all know what Danny is capable of from his first spell at the club and this move made total sense.

"With Graham Carey and Lee Croft returning to their parent clubs earlier this month we needed an extra player in to compete for the wide midfield positions and Danny will provide strong competition down the flanks.

"He's a great character to have around the club too and I know he will fit straight back into the squad."
