Danny Cadamarteri hopes he can help Dundee United's youngsters learn from his mistakes at Everton.

The striker admits: "I came through the English ranks with Michael Owen but unfortunately I didn't reach the sort of heights he has in his career. That was down to my own lifestyle and the guidance I had off the pitch as well.

"That's possibly one of the main reasons why the gaffer wanted me to come to United. I'll try my best to keep them right as they've all got a fantastic opportunity to go to the very top."
