The 26-year-old has admitted on a number of occasions that he took a risk when deciding to move to England because there was a chance, as there is with all foreign imports, that he wouldn’t adapt to the football or lifestyle.
Neither have been a problem.
Cabaye told the Sunday Sun: “My family is really settled in Newcastle and that is the most important thing.
“It is the only thing.
“They managed to settle into life in Newcastle almost straight away and that has been a massive help. I am really happy living in England.”
